The Keypad / Control Panel
Every button on the keypad: hopper, cleaning table, primaries, secondaries, steering, and Terra Float.
All right, these are your keypads. These control most of the functions on the machine. So we'll start at the top left here. You've got hopper manual — when you start the machine it automatically reverts; every time the power is off it reverts back to hopper manual, so you're going to need to switch it to hopper auto. That controls your hopper boom going up and down. In manual you can raise it or lower it. You have your cleaning table raise and your cleaning table lower here, to adjust the angle of your cleaning table for more aggressive or less aggressive cleaning. These buttons don't do anything. We'll go to the right. Here we have cleaning table on or cleaning table off. It's not running right now because the PTO is off, but you've got cleaning table on, cleaning table off. It'll show you what the percentage is up here, of what speed you're running it at. Increase, decrease for speed there. You've got your beacons on here, which are on top of the cleaning table, and then you've got your cleaning table on here, top of the hopper. And then here you have reverse one, two, three and four, so you can individually reverse each set of rolls on the cleaning table. Moving down to the bottom left, here we have primaries on or off. You've got primary speed increase, primary speed decrease, and primary reverse. So increase, decrease and reverse are now on the joystick as well, but this is for running your primaries. Same thing with the secondaries here: on, off, increase, decrease and reverse. You push and hold the button to reverse; when you release it it will go back to running forward. Moving to the bottom right, here we have steering, left and right. If you hold the two it goes blue and then it centers. You have coulter raise, digger raise. You push the button, it keeps the pressure on them. If you turn it off, then it does not keep the pressure on. Same thing with lowering: you can lower it and then you can stop it. If you lower it, then if you raise it and push it again you can stop it halfway, because it's no longer putting pressure. And then last, you have Terra Float forward and Terra Float reverse. And then if you push and hold the two buttons together and then let go at the same time, it stays blue, and then it runs forward when the digger bed goes up and down.

The Sure Grip Joystick
Steering, coulters, digger bed, hopper boom swing, and primary-chain control from the joystick.
Okay, this is our Sure Grip joystick. All the buttons are used except this top left one. So the first one here is steering — you've got left and right — and then on the back side there's a trigger with your index finger. You push that and your wheels will center according to this sensor on the back. Then you have your coulters up and coulters down. You have your digger bed up and down — this one. This one on the right is for your hopper boom swing. This one is for your cleaning table up and down. This
joystick here, this little switch, is for running or speeding up your primary chains and slowing them down while in operation. And this flat button — you push and hold it and your steel wheels will reverse, and your primary chain will reverse. And when you release it, they will both go back to forward.

Wheel Drive
Running the wheel drive in freewheel, forward and reverse, and low versus high pressure.
Okay, so when you start your machine up, you're gonna run your hydraulics so that your wheel drive is in freewheel, and you can see that on your gauges behind the cab. Then, to run your wheel drive, you're gonna push forward, and it's going to climb to a certain psi based on what your percentage setting is right here. So now I have it in low — it's running at about 1,900 psi. If I choose high, you can see immediately it jumps up to 3,400 psi. Now I can also change this directly to reverse, and then it's pulling the opposite direction. Same thing — switch it to low, it goes down to 1,900, 2,000, give or take. If I change this number here, pressure decrease, you can see the numbers are slowly going down as it decreases in pressure.

Primaries & Secondaries
Turning on and tuning the primary and secondary chains — speeds, reverse, and cautions.
This is normal operation of your primaries. So after power-down you're going to turn your primaries on. Then you can increase and decrease them here or on your joystick, and you can reverse them here or on your joystick. So if you increase, your number will go up. It's a percentage of the output of the pump — that's what that number means. So you can run this anywhere from, yeah, 30 to 60, 70 percent is most guys' kind of normal operation. Secondary, same procedure — you're gonna turn them on. The light will change from red to green on both of those. You're gonna go increase to — you know, 45% is where a lot of guys run it, some faster depending on your conditions. And then, same thing, you can reverse them here. This one is not able to reverse from the joystick, just here. And when you do reverse your secondaries, please use caution, because the vines can hook on some things, so we encourage people to only reverse for a second or two.

The Cleaning Table & Rolls
Operating the cleaning rolls: setting speed, watching heat, and reversing each roll individually.
Okay, this is your normal operation of your cleaning table. So I have the PTO running you're gonna turn it on once It's on once then every time you turn your PTO on it's just gonna start immediately You won't have to turn press this button every time Here you can increase and decrease it it shows on your screen here cleaning rolls increase or decrease Usually most guys run them around 50 % If you run them too fast, they just build a lot of heat down here You have your reverse 1 2 3 4 you can individually reverse each roll If I go to my rolls page here, then I can show you what that looks like So you push the button it reverses you push the button it reverses 1 2 3 4 they reverse And then they're done a little light turns on when you reverse them. So that's normal operation of your cleaning table
