The Role
We're hiring a full-time Heavy Duty Mechanic to keep our fleet and custom equipment running at peak performance. This is more than just oil changes ??? it's about deep diagnostics and preventative maintenance across a wide variety of machines, from tandems and semis to the custom equipment our own shop builds.
What You'll Do
- Fleet Maintenance: Maintain and repair tandems and semis used across our row-crop and livestock operations.
- Diagnostics: Diagnose engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems and track down intermittent issues.
- Preventative Maintenance: Schedule and execute preventative maintenance to keep downtime low during critical farming windows.
- Documentation: Document service records so the next person who touches the machine has a clear history.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Prior heavy-duty mechanic experience is required. A Journeyman ticket is not required.
- Versatility: Comfortable working in both shop and field environments, on both farm equipment and over-the-road trucks.
- Reliability: You understand that in farming, timing is everything.
- Location: This is an in-person position at our Grassy Lake, AB operation.
