SLM Spud Farms is a family-owned and operated agricultural producer located in Grassy Lake, Alberta. We're a diverse operation specializing in row crops ??? including potatoes and corn ??? and a robust livestock program featuring beef cattle, poultry, and swine, all supported by our on-site feedmill. The Role

We're hiring a full-time Welder / Fabricator to turn designs into reality. You'll be responsible for building the custom equipment our design team drafts and performing structural repairs across the farm. If you take pride in a clean weld bead and enjoy seeing a pile of steel become a finished machine, this role is for you.

• Welding: Mig and Stick welding on mild and stainless steel.
• Custom Fabrication: Build frames, conveyors, bins, and one-off components from our design team's drawings.
• Structural Repairs: Perform structural repairs across the farm on equipment and infrastructure.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure structural integrity and dimensional accuracy.

• Fabrication Skills: Strong fabrication skills with experience on production work.
• Welding Positions: Ability to weld cleanly in various positions.
• Bonus: Experience with farm equipment is a plus.
• Location: This is an in-person position at our Grassy Lake, AB operation.
